In , I felt my career was stuck. Two years before that, I started a company with my dad. But after two years, I became restless because I wanted to do more and learn more. So I did some freelancing. I built websites, did copywriting, content marketing, and some design work. I never did the uncomfortable work. Instead, I found a job to escape those hard tasks. Building a business or career is hard. It requires you to do difficult, tedious, and unsatisfying tasks. If you want more clients or work, no one is going to hand it to you.
You have to hustle. Do content marketing, one-on-one sales, network, or whatever method you use to grow your business. And if you want to climb the corporate ladder, you have to form alliances, be strategic, outperform your targets, and be great at what you do. Most of us already know these things. Or, you will find out about it.

However, we prefer to escape work. Instead, you open a news site and start reading useless news items. Or you browse your Instagram feed without liking one picture because you hate your life. Porter, or whatever online shop you like. That was, and to a degree still is, the story of my life. But writing is also very difficult work to me.
You go to the dentist because you know the process is worth it. The same mentality applies to a challenging task. The key to beating procrastination is to understand that procrastination is rooted in emotions. The strategies above will help you to turn the procrastination doom loop on its head and to achieve greater productivity than ever before.

What helped me the most was to create positive habits. I find that when having ADD, we have the best of intentions. But often we get so easily distracted that it takes us 30 minutes just to get back on task. I currently have about 15 tabs open right now. So I got to close them now lol. With ADD once we harness the power, we can also learn to hyper-focus.
I used to be fat, unmotivated and lazy. Once I learned goal setting, it changed my life and I got into shape and became a personal trainer. After years of working in corporate, I quit my job and became a business owner of a 6, square feet martial arts fitness studio. Now I am on my journey of learning how to create online income in my spare time. Similar to you, I need a very clean work space.
